Both Shea butter and Jojoba oil along with our selection of (optional) essential oils, are each highly respected for the many benefits that have been proven over centuries of use by both indigenous peoples from the regions of their original source and in modern skin care.

Shea butter works as an emollient that softens and hydrates skin. It contains several types of fatty acids — including linoleic, oleic, palmitic and stearic acids — that improve the skin's natural barrier, shea butter also assists in protecting skin from damage from the environment and a high content of vitamins A, E and F.

Jojoba oil is a plant-derived ‘ester’ that closely mimics the skin’s natural sebum, making it an excellent choice for balancing oil production and providing moisture without clogging pores.
Nourishing and Protecting: Packed with vitamins E and B, as well as minerals like zinc and copper, Jojoba oil nourishes the skin and assists in offering protection from damage.

Jojo Bloom is small-batch hand crafted in Australia from Shea butter ultimately sourced from a women's co-operative in Northern Ghana and Jojoba oil from Argentina.

(*We use mL metric liquid measurements as the Shea Butter is measured in its liquid state when blended with the Jojoba Oil. Shea butter softens and melts on contact with human skin at between (31º-38ºC),(40º-45ºF)

This ensures that all of the inherent benefits of this premium oil are retained.

Jojoba is a plant ester liquid wax that has similar characteristics to the sebum in our skin.
It is a natural emollient (moisturizer) and contains Omega-9 (Oleic acid), vitamin E (anti-oxidant) and also vitamins A, D and B.
Jojoba is ideal for long-term skin and hair maintenance and rejuvenation.

It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory characteristics and assists in the prevention and treatment of stretch-marks and scars.
Jojoba oil is considered noncomedogenic, which means it will not clog your pores, and is readily absorbed by your body within minutes.

• Try applying a little immediately after showering, while your skin is still damp.
• Great for removing facial make-up (keep clear of the the eye balls)
• Massage into pregnant bellies, or surprise your partner (or yourself) with a body, foot and hand massage.
• Rub a little onto your hands and run your fingers through your (damp) hair

Lovely lips balm is organic and vegan-friendly, replacing bees' wax with high proportion of Shea butter, blended with Jojoba oil and natural plant-based Candelilla wax.
