While much of the Shea butter found in commercial body products has been chemically extracted, processed and represents a small fraction of ingredients, our organic Shea butter is sourced from Northern Ghana, were it is hand-gathered wild and processed using traditional methods by local tribes women.
Our golden organic Jojoba oil is sourced from Israel (emerging as one of the world's leading producers) and is unprocessed.
Our essential oils are all organic and only used in very subtle amounts.
Both Shea butter and Jojoba have been used as food sources, cooking oils and for natural skin care for thousands of years, both are widely praised for their attributes and are regarded as a very low allergy risk.
Never-the-less we advise that you test on a small area such as your inner arm.
In the unlikely event that you experience any itching, discomfort or reaction, you should cease use.
